Here's another blog about great things to see in Florida. But, unlike the others, I'm writing it. Also, I live in Florida, so I'm not going to give you some crowded amusement that everyone and their little cousin has seen and done. So, without any hesitation:
1) http://www.dinoworld.net/
- A great place full of actual size cement dinosaurs. It's set up in a trail like formation, so all of a sudden you round the bend and there's a triceratops.
2)http://www.junglejims.ca/index.php
- A great jungle themed restaurant that is just one of a kind, out in the Orlando area. Great food! Great place!
3) General thought - If you like in your home town, there's a good chance a local eatery has a double down in FLa. It's odd and quirky how many times this has happened.
4) The Pinellas Trail http://www.pinellascounty.org/park/12_Trail.htm
- A 28 mile stretch of land that spans the entire pinellas county. Run, bike, jog, Rollerblade, enjoy the weather and the day - Go outside!
