The Good of Wikipedia

Wikipedia is touted as a bad site. Wikipedia is also touted as a site of errors. (In fact you can see a number of these errors on this site). Wikipedia has billed itself as a web-based encyclopedia, but it is a glorified blog-space. However, all that info came from somewhere. That somewhere had to have some sort of info on it. We got it!!

No matter what piece of information you're looking for on Wikipedia, there is a list of references on the bottom. The coolest part, is that these are links to where whoever wrote this section of the Wikipedia Blog, obtained it from some sort of source. All Wikipedia sections have this space at the bottom that is reserved for sources and where you get the info you just pasted up. Most of these sources will have real and legitimate information. Many souirces are actually hosted by Universities and Colleges.

So in the end, Wikipedia, not the best place to find information. The sources at the bottom of a Wikipedia page, is a great source of info.
