BRAND NEW - mISCELANEOUS MISADVENTURES AND MEANDERINGS OF TRW AND THE KID

NEW!! Brand new!!!!!

For the few who are reading this!!! This blog, yes this one, is going to be transformed into the blog of the grand and often curious adventures of Thadious and the Kid. I must introduce you to the Main Characters

Thadious Robert Wizner, also know as TRW - He has lived on the outer edges of reality and literary obscurity for decades, and now has finally been caught up with. After a long stint under the grand tutelage of the Dali Lama and Writer Jackson, he has emerged onto our society with a vengeance for experience. It happens sometimes when you're outside of the country for so long you forget that this type of society could exist in the world. As TRW himself says,"We are the reality of what we have been fighting against for over 200 years. We do not see that we are our own problem because as all humans, we don't like to look in the mirror and realize Buddha was right: You will see your problems in others as long as you have those problems."

So why has he come back to the states? Why has emerged now? Why is he on this obscure Blog...a blog that only 100 people a month arrive at, and Chad believes that 30 of those are him. All of these answers will be answered in a recent interview that I had with Thadious over the phone 2 days ago. A lot of it is obscure and odd, but it's normal Thadious as far as I've always known him. But back to the charachters because this Blog has already ran too long.

The Kid - Because of his age we can only divulge he is an emerging genius of the highest quality with a propensity for laziness in such a way, that it holds onto him like a ravenous tiger in the middle of a drought as it tastes the new blood that drip from your shoulder as it bites down. However his true abilities of math, logic, and order are traits of legendary proportion. He's currently going to high-school but going is a loose word for an existence of mock trying and dodgy acquaintance that he turns into grades that would make the cream of the crop smile and cry about. What his future holds is unknown, but i can bet TRW isn't helping or hindering. The Kid seems to understand, but says that he "really aspires to be the neighbor kid". It's an odd comment for there are no neighbors on the large plot of land that they live on. Which causes me to question:

How did this poor kid come across TRW; maybe TRW sought him out for some sort of obscure protege turned wrong and bad. Who knows! Only The Kid and TRW truly know. An obscure answer appears in the interview, but you can take it how you want to.

Tune in for same blog time, same Blog address for the oddly created advnetures and mishaps of TRW and The Kid.

Bukowski Is the NOW

Why did he write his poetry? Why did he exist? Was he as Thompson said of his attorney, "God's prototype? Was Bukowski a prototype of genius? What is genius, when it is put in hard cold black and white? For it can only be read. Read by whomever reads it, and so man ywant to read Bukowski. Everybody wants to read him out loud. They spend a moment praising him. Then they spend a moment, sometime way longer, oh so much fuckin longer, talking about their time with a man who cared more for the cat that walked over his typewriter than this person who is going to read his poetry. Finally they read it.

They read Bukowski with exuberance. They read him with hope, prosperity, and adoration. But,that was not what Bukowski wrote. He wrote the observations of the time, in prose form of poetry that was not suppose to convey anything but the acts of existence, the toime of "now" that that Poem of Bukowski's spoke of. In hos ability, he didn't point out a thing, and explain it as a significance to something else; he asked us to be there.

BE THERE

That' what bukosoki asks his readers to do. BE There. Be in that one spot, at that one time when that action, that moment, that infinitesimal thought sparked in his brain and he thought what ever he mused upon that one idea, given that one moment. Then, you will move on to the next Bukowski poem, which in turn is another now.

And when Hank read his poetry, it was as a man depicts what happened when he turned the corner on that one day, at that one time, and when he saw what he saw, and heard what he heard, he pondered the thoughts that he did. He has now allowed us into that inner sanctum, and we now move on tot he next time.

Wow! Turns out Hunter S. Thompson was published in playboy. Who knew!!! Here is a great link for anyone wanting know exactly what it was and where to get it. Good job!!! That's the thing with writers, we will be published in any publication that will publish us, but the thing with hunter is that Playboy fits him just as Rolling Stone did. However, all of Thompson's playboy pieces sold better than any other issue of the magazine. Does that mean people were really reading , yes it does.

Shel Silverstein-more than just a kids poet

Why is so hard for people to think of Shel Silverstein as working for playboy? When was playboy so deified? When did showing off your gorgeous naked body become such a horrible thing? Plus, his artistry and comics were hilarious. But oh no!!! He wrote children's poetry, how could he be part of that horrible Playboy...bah! Are you serious. It would probably be a good idea for the your little johnny or suzy to see someone naked to show them that they don't have to be ashamed of their beautiful body. They don't have to be perfect looking to feel good about themselves. Wow, that's crazy talk in our society.

What's really fun is to walk into a library and ask for Shel's "adult" stuff. they look at you lie you just walked off the crazy plane, then they look at you liked you 'd just asked, "Can you tell me where your porn is? "Adult" is the only way to describe it, because it isn't for kids. Anything that isn't for kids is adult. Mature always winds up meaning old people...so I guess I'm still a kid. If you are able or have the opportunity to pick up any of Shel's adult stuff...or especially his plays I strongly recommend it. What a great read Shel Silverstein's stuff truly is.

But, the library is the best place to find all of this stuff if you can get over the old ladies scoffing at you, the old men chuckling, and the younger women moving their children away from you. Incidently, he is the inspiration for the name of this Blog.

A space can mean decapitation

I was driving down the road the other day when I came upon a sign: Stop Ahead. A well meant sign to alert you that you will need to stop just ahead, and you must be careful because of this. I came to a conclusion upon seeing that sign as to how important a space is. A mere tap of the space bar, a small little hesitation of a painter or a sign creator and this is no longer a helpful sign to notify you there's a stop sign. It's now notifying you that you are now entering a scene of a crime. You are now going to be witnessing a decapitation, or what was a decapitation. Because you must STOP! A head! A head is in the road, or on a pike, or sitting on a shelf. Maybe it's a famous head...who knows. But, you are now going to bear witness to A HEAD! AUGH!!

Eggs for breakfast

Why is it that nobody feels bad about eating eggs? I mean they are kids. We are a society that laments and is just fuckin crazy about babies, and little children, and cute little baby animals, and little children and on and on and on; but oh yeah, those poor fuckin chickens. We don't care about these chicks till they become all cute and yellow. Don't want to hurt the cute little yellow things, but as soon as they get older and have white feathers, it's dinner time. What type of people are we? Then if we can get them before they hatch, oh the cry goes out: GET THE BABIES!!! We raid thier shit like we're an angry mob looking for the beast. Get the eggs. Get the eggs. Eggs are good. We need Omelets. We need them hardboiled for salads and deviled eggs. Grab your pitchforks and torches! Take out the chicken young. We will force them to make our delicacies, we are the rulers. Kill the beasts! Kill the beasts!!

Inspiration quote pitch....

As I'm sitting here wandering around my own reality I noticed a small bit of sanity, and decided I really needed to throw it out. But, I'll let it stay for a while. I re-read my last post, and realized I have now set up the ability to put myself into this blog. However, had I ever wanted to do that? I don't know. But looking into the blog, I am all over it. So are we here or are we there? It truly doesn't matter.

But ,my real question that I'd like to ask anyone actually reading this: Would you or anyone you know like to read an inspirations quote ever day? It will only cost you 15 cents a quote. That's less than a cup of coffee. Please contact me at chadrherman@yahoo.com, and I'd be happy to get that started for you. Would you like to be inspired? Would you like to be motivated? Every day I'd be happy to do just that for you!!!

More Hunter S. Thompson quotes, and why not??

As I sit thinking more about hunter, mere minutes after the last blog...i realize maybe he's right. Maybe we need to make the story in order to cover the story. That's possible I suppose. or maybe we have to be the story...Yes, I'll be the story thank-you. So I looked into my world and realized, i am more of a story than most people realize or i do for that matter. Still waiting to sip the coffee, I ponder my existence and toss down some more quotes and dirges by Hunter that I've pilfered from others on the net, that also pilfered from somewhere.

- “Maybe there is no Heaven. Or maybe this is all pure gibberish — a product of the demented imagination of a lazy drunken hillbilly with a heart full of hate who has found a way to live out where the real winds blow — to sleep late, have fun, get wild, drink whisky, and drive fast on empty streets with nothing in mind except falling in love and not getting arrested…Res ipsa loquitur. Let the good times roll.”

- Anybody who thinks that ‘it doesn’t matter who’s President’ has never been Drafted and sent off to fight and die in a vicious, stupid War on the other side of the World — or been beaten and gassed by Police for trespassing on public property — or been hounded by the IRS for purely political reasons — or locked up in the Cook County Jail with a broken nose and no phone access and twelve perverts wanting to stomp your ass in the shower. That is when it matters who is President or Governor or Police Chief. That is when you will wish you had voted.”

Hunter S. thompson quotes

I find my self sitting here at 4:15 in the morning, realizing no one is reading my blog, and noone really cares what the hell I say. I'm oddly ok with that, and I await the sun, the blue sky, and the inevitable bright blazing sun. When it comes up, I'm going to brew a cup of good coffee, put some milk and whyskey into it, and write till I'm done writing. Upon thinking of this, I thought of Hunter S. Thompson. He'd gone out, seen the world...seen what there was to be seen. Lived it, loved it, and took himself out when it got weird enough. So I add a few Hunter S. Thompson quotes:

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you.

When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.

No one holds command over me. No man. No god. No Prince. What is a claim of age for ones who are immortal? What is a claim of power for ones who defy death? Call your damnable hunt. We shall see whom I drag screaming to hell with me.

So we shall let the reader answer this question for himself: Who is the happier man, he who has braved the storm of life and lived, or he who has stayed securely on shore and merely existed?

A cap of good acid costs five dollars and for that you can hear the Universal Symphony with God singing solo and the Holy Ghost on drums.

the beginning?

It's only in the beginning of a truly and utterly true detox that you fully realize what you're about to do. Because it's only at that moment that you can think. I'm not talking pondering whther or not you should do that. I'm not talking about deciding if it's a good idea or not. If you're like any good junkie, you've already done all of these things or you wouldn't be here right now. So at this moment of clarity, this precipice of reality, you have the fine and unnerving oportunity to look out at the horizon. It seems that whatever deity or higher power you believe in, even if it's the all mighty questioning testtube of science, has bent down to allow you this one moment. This one moment to look out upon this great valley that is your life and your existence and ponder why you need to go through this detox. Why this is all necessary. What lead to these times and items. What is it that you were doing when you did the things you did, to borrow from an old "Lil Audrey" song. Were you conscious? Were you in the reality you thought you were in? Were you the person youthought you were; and after this detox, will you look back and be surprised that that person existed? Or will you look back and think it is all for naught? That's the hardest question of the bunch...is this detox going to do something and is it worth it? But any one who has been in this position knows that's not a question to ponder long. Before you know it, you'll bnreak out of your nailed sdhuity room, and be riught in the middle of the junk again. That question can't be asked. So you poonder the others, trying to push that l;ast question further and further out of your mind.

Almost without knowing, almost without seeing, almost without perception; you find yourself telling everyone this is what you're going to do; and it's almost like a pack you're making. But you know these faustian words that they grumble out, no matter how coherent and elequent they are, should not be said to you in your state. These words are the words that will ring out to you in the middle of the cold night sweats. these are the words that will haunt you for the next days....oh yeah, they mean well. But they have no fuckin idea how those words will get twisted up and misconstrued in your addict soaked mind. So you put them aside and try to not not think of them, but you can't help it, you want more. The sadistic side of a pre-detox person is not one to stop themselves from doing this. So they ask for more.

Then you know, you know that you'll be yelling, screraming, and wanting like you've never wanted before. You'll scream out in pain, anguish, fear, and desperation. Why won't anyone help you? Because you've already told them not to. You said you could handle this. Thsi fear of what is to come makes you shake as you get ready to do what you must. You wake up and it all hits you. You're really going to do this. You're really goiing to stop. You're really going to do this for the betterment of you. You're...fuck that, this is going to suck. And onkly at the moment before jumping off the cliff and thinking you're an eagle, do you ever realize the possibility that you might not be an eagle. But, your feet have already left the ground, so you flap and hope for the best.
