We derive how we see the world by people who have no idea how to raise us. The people who teach us about the world in general, are the same people who are wondering what the hell is going on. Most people are raised by kids who are about 25 or so, wondering where their path is, what the meaning of life is, and where the hell this is all going. Then they are given the task to teach a future generation. No wonder we all grow up to be confused, agitated, and wondering what people are the people we are suppose to believe.
Then these same people finally think they have a handle on things, and realize...Wow, I shoukld have told my kid that when he was young. But they didn't know it.
Folks, just because your parents gave you their advice, remember they're still learning too.
