My daughter stood up in class on Thursday and wanted to make an announcement: She was going to live stay with her daddy that had no electricity. She estatic!!!
I'm a writer...we don't get paid much. The electric company doesn't understand that there are lean times and prosperous times. their solution is to stop me from working. If they stop me from working, it will give me incentive to pay their bill. Great idea....electric people. It must be nice being the only legal monopoloy around. Look at poor Bill Gates. This is a man who sat in his mom's garage and created DOS. Then he went on to crearte and fund the ability of Microsoft. Then he put a PC on every desk. Because of this man you know what a computer is more than a rotary phone. But, he got 1/2 of his company that he thought of, developed, created, and prospered taken away from him because he had a "monopoly". Really? Or maybe he just did something while others sat on their ass. But the power company, well that's different i suppose.
So I decidced to rise above the electric. I have my candles, my invertor and car battery, my chimney and chimney stove. I am liberating myself. Free at last Free at last Oh lord, I am free at last. This beautiful thing caused me to have a social worker call me and suggest that I might be punished for this. Oh, I see. For 100 years, electric has been around as a modern convenience. The world has had people on it for millions of years. I guess according to the world as a whole, the social worker dcf types, Every person, from Galileo, Newton, all of the Caesars, every king and queen of Europe prior to 1880, and every other child int he entire world that lived with out electric was being harmed and injured.

How to raise a baby...Guess!
I hear new parents complain that they don't know what to do. They look at this slug and wonder, what the hell am I suppose to do with that. They don't know how to handle no sleep, they don't know how to handle a bottle, formula, bouncy chairs, strollers, diapers, diaper bags, or any thing.
Then there are these fantastic doctors and stay at home moms and all sorts of people who think they have cracked the code, cracked the world around them...then they write a book or create an article in a magazine, or the real go getters create an entire magazines. (Parenting anyone?) Now if a new parent had to decide whether they were going to read some fantastic article on how to solve all of their problems, or sleep......sleep is going to win out whether they like it or not.
So what's the answer? Well, the old woman in the shoe couldn't feed her kids so she just smacked them around and sent them to bed. We still read this monstrous tale to the kids, so why not?
Seriously....What ever you think is right, is right! Trust me, everyone will let you know their opinion of whatever you do with your child. EVERYONE!!!

Most people are raised by kids who are about 25 or so, wondering where their path is, what the meaning of life is, and where the hell this is all going. Then they are given the task to teach a future generation. No wonder we all grow up to be confused, agitated, and wondering what people are the people we are suppose to believe.
Then these same people finally think they have a handle on things, and realize...Wow, I shoukld have told my kid that when he was young. But they didn't know it.

Oil,Oil, Oil....get over it!
Here we go!!!! Why look for alternative fuels, that's too hard. Why downsize our alreadys astronomical oil consumption? Why would you want to do that? No....just look for more right? NO! NO! How many experts, how many scientists, what is it going to take for people to realize that we need to relaize the relaities of our stay on this planet, the fact we are all connected as one, and that oil is not the wave of the future......ESP{ECIALLY IN THE GULF OF MEXICO!!!! Their dealing with habitats that have been created for centuries. Even more-this is hurricane alley. Mess with this ecosystem and you get bigger hurricanes. Then what happens when the derrecks fall off the pump and spew oil......"my bad" is all we'll get!

LONDON (Reuters) - Oil major BP Plc said it has made an oil discovery in the
Gulf of Mexico, which analysts believe could contain over 1 billion barrels of recoverable reserves, reaffirming the Gulf's strategic importance to the industry.
BP said in a statement on Wednesday that it had made the "giant" find at its Tiber Prospect in the Keathley Canyon block 102, by drilling one of the deepest wells ever sunk by the industry.
Further appraisal will be required to ascertain the size of volumes of oil present, but a spokesman said the find should be bigger than its Kaskida discovery which has over 3 billion barrels of oil in place.
Estimates of recoverable reserves range from around 20 percent of oil in place.
"Assuming reserves in place of 4 billion barrels and a 35 percent recovery rate, BP's proven reserves .. would rise by 868 million barrels -- equivalent to 4.8 percent of the group's 18.14 billion barrels of proven reserves," Aymeric De-Villaret, oil analyst at Societe Generale said in a research note.
BP, the biggest oil producer in the U.S. and biggest leaseholder in the Gulf of Mexico, has a 62 percent working interest in the block, while Brazilian state-controlled Petrobras owns 20 percent and U.S. oil major ConocoPhillips owns 18 percent.
Iain Armstrong, analyst at Brewin Dolphin, said the discovery may have implications for long-term oil prices.
"It will ease concerns about peak oil because it shows there is life left in these mature areas," he said, adding that it could be the second half of the next decade before the find is producing.
The discovery also bodes well for other exploration in that part of the Gulf of Mexico, including at Royal Dutch Shell's nearby Great White field, Jason Kenny, oil analyst at ING in Edinburgh, said.
BP shares, which had been trading slightly down ahead of the statement, closed up 4.3 percent at 541 pence, outperforming a 1.75 percent rise in the DJ Stoxx European oil and gas sector index.
The Gulf of Mexico has become increasingly important to Western oil majors as oil rich-countries such as Saudi Arabia, Venezuela and Russia reserve their richest fields to be developed by their state-owned oil companies.
The Gulf is especially attractive because it offers high profit margins, due to relatively low taxation compared to countries such as Russia and Nigeria, and because of the low political risk.
As nearer-shore discoveries dry up, companies have pushed further out to sea, which has forced them to develop new technologies to detect and extract the oil.
The prospects for massive discoveries in the deep water of the Gulf of Mexico is also good news for U.S. politicians' ambitions to reduce the country's reliance on imported oil, although oil executives doubt the U.S. is capable of becoming self sufficient in oil.

Further appraisal will be required to ascertain the size of volumes of oil present, but a spokesman said the find should be bigger than its Kaskida discovery which has over 3 billion barrels of oil in place.
Estimates of recoverable reserves range from around 20 percent of oil in place.
"Assuming reserves in place of 4 billion barrels and a 35 percent recovery rate, BP's proven reserves .. would rise by 868 million barrels -- equivalent to 4.8 percent of the group's 18.14 billion barrels of proven reserves," Aymeric De-Villaret, oil analyst at Societe Generale said in a research note.
BP, the biggest oil producer in the U.S. and biggest leaseholder in the Gulf of Mexico, has a 62 percent working interest in the block, while Brazilian state-controlled Petrobras owns 20 percent and U.S. oil major ConocoPhillips owns 18 percent.
Iain Armstrong, analyst at Brewin Dolphin, said the discovery may have implications for long-term oil prices.
"It will ease concerns about peak oil because it shows there is life left in these mature areas," he said, adding that it could be the second half of the next decade before the find is producing.
The discovery also bodes well for other exploration in that part of the Gulf of Mexico, including at Royal Dutch Shell's nearby Great White field, Jason Kenny, oil analyst at ING in Edinburgh, said.
BP shares, which had been trading slightly down ahead of the statement, closed up 4.3 percent at 541 pence, outperforming a 1.75 percent rise in the DJ Stoxx European oil and gas sector index.
The Gulf of Mexico has become increasingly important to Western oil majors as oil rich-countries such as Saudi Arabia, Venezuela and Russia reserve their richest fields to be developed by their state-owned oil companies.
The Gulf is especially attractive because it offers high profit margins, due to relatively low taxation compared to countries such as Russia and Nigeria, and because of the low political risk.
As nearer-shore discoveries dry up, companies have pushed further out to sea, which has forced them to develop new technologies to detect and extract the oil.
The prospects for massive discoveries in the deep water of the Gulf of Mexico is also good news for U.S. politicians' ambitions to reduce the country's reliance on imported oil, although oil executives doubt the U.S. is capable of becoming self sufficient in oil.

Look at the yellow. That band of weather is all one system based in the top of the atlantic. This is one of its feeder bands. This isn't normal. This isn't what weather does. It follows the jet stream, but there usually isn't weather along the entire jet stream. By the way....the old huirricane is going to sweep the nation. What will that be like? Let the mid west get hit bu torndos, california is burning down, and there's a hurrican in the atlantic.....Mommy, is this armagedon? :-)

Wow, there's hurricanes in the pacific, and the Atlantic. In may I was yapping about a cataclysmic year. The pacific is hot the Atlantic is hot the gulf is hot, and the north pole is gone away. What does this all mean....Global warming Baby. But it's cold where I am, some people will say as the temps drop. That's ok. It has more to do with the change of weather, than the temperature. We're spinning out of control. Look around, is this weather normal to you?
Ask the old folks and they'll say since we went up to the moon the weather hasn't been the same. They have a pretty good point, that's also when all of the bad pollutants started to be shot into he air faster than ever. Cars, and lead fuel. Rockets, and plumes of exhaust that equal 4 months on an LA freeway, that happens in 1/2 seconds.
This is just the beginning. If you've been watching your weather forecast, take a look off the coast of maine. There's a huge system, where's it going? Why is it dragging the little class 5 hurricane with it. This system takes up the entire north Atlantic. Btu what do I know, I'm only a kid who writes a bolg and has a meteorology degree. Yard Sale compatibility test
The life and the yard sale
As I sit at my yard sale for the third day i've seen a trend.
There are the peopel who want everything just given tot hem. Of course most people want everythign they want for free, and they want everything that they are selling for twice what its worth. That's really the american way I think.
There are the people that want only one thing. Most of the time it's fishing or pottery. These people will quickly run through and then off they go....talking about that one elusive item.
There are the people that will buy anything, just as long as it kinda suits them. One person bought 3 old magnets for a quarter.
Then there's the team. True story: A couple pulled up. They took out a few dollars out of an envelope. They had a strategy: The husband would take one side the wife the other. They get out and begin looking. As they see things, they yell to their spouse the items they see and find, so the spouse doesn't have to look over there. They arrive at the back, where I am, say thank-you at the same time and quickly leave
Fianlly, the drive bys. These people will slow way down. Drive by the sales, look real quick, and then quicky gun their engine and leave
Is this who these people are in real life? The planners, the drive buys (People just passing through and not taking any thing too seriously, and most things aren't important enough to figure out or get reall in detail with), the people looking only for one thing, and they endlessly look. Maybe the way we act at a yard sale is our real us.
The next time you want to see if you and "your friend" are a true match, go out to a few yard sales with them. You coulkd find out some things you did n't know about them previously. Are you dating a drive by?

Why do we treat the old this way?
I was speaking to a woman who was 80 years of today. She was in love with living and the world. She was living in a small apartment across from me at one point. She had to move to an assisted living facility because she just couldn't do it anymore by herself. As she was moving she told me her story. After I heard it my heart sunk...and i wondered if we have truly lost our responsibilities to our elder population. Have we really just forgotten them? Have we really turned into a society where we lock up our older people into buildings and facilities because we don't want them around anymore, because they are an inconvenience? Maybe the only fear of getting old is the fear of what the young people are going to do to us when we get there.
This is her story:
She moved to this Florida town back in the 60's. She was a spry 40 year old, and had her whole life in front of her...as she put it. She bought a house in a swampy area, but the little dirt road to the inter coastal was a nice little walk, and it was nice being so close to the beach. Because she couldn't see the water, she got her house for a really cheap price. every day she would get off of work, walk down the little dirt path, meet up with some people that lived on the other side of the path because they had money, and they would all sip wine and watch the sunset.
Soon her daughter graduated and moved away to college. Her daughter had lived in a few big cities and then she came home. By that time, my neighbor had begin to get sick so it was nice that her daughter was there to help her. She got back into better health, and her daughter's boyfriend moved in. She didn't like it, but she felt she owed her daughter something. Her daughter got pregnant, and told her mother that her house was perfect for the 3 of them, and she was shoved into a nice apartment. This sounded nice to my neighbor, especially since the mortgage payments were more expensive than then her small social security check and her small retirement check. In 1 day, her entire house was loaded up, and put into an apartment. The apartment was 3 doors down, and her daughter saw her once every three to six months. She still isn't moved in because she has to wait for someone to lift the boxes for her.
Then her daughter enrolled her into the assisted living facility, and I happened upon her in an assisted living place....accidentally. Her daughter has seen her once in a year. How sad!

Tampa shore lines on the Brink of Destruction
I received this e-mail and I couldn't believe it . Did Bush really do this? when he wqas on his wayt out did he rally just decided that the coiast lines didn'ty mean anything? Does he not feel the oneness? I guess not. So I reproduce this e-mail from the enviromental league of florida, urging us tohelp. Just before leaving office, President Bush did his Big Oil buddies one last favor by setting in motion plans to open much of America's coastline to offshore oil drilling.
We know what that means for Florida: daily discharges of oily water, leaky pipelines, industrialized coasts and the potential for a catastrophic spill.
That's bad news for our spectacular beaches and those who depend upon them. The risks are certainly not worth the reward -- about a cent's worth of gas savings in 2025.
Send Secretary of Interior Salazar a message asking him to stop the rush to drill off Florida's coast.
Big Oil says their rigs, pipelines, tankers and refineries are safe, clean and environmentally friendly these days. But that's a big lie!

Pay attention to the kids
I'm sitting here in the park working and a father, a mother, and their daughter walk by. The daughter, of no more than 6, was speaking a mile a minute. The parents were talking over her, and what she was saying was falling on deaf ears. It seemed the parents needed to figure out what mortgage company they were going to use. The little girl was talking about what tree she was going to climb. I found the dichotomy of the conversation humerus and disturbing.
When the little girl burst from their hands, a shocked and terrified look screeched across the parents faces. The girl raced for a tree, jumped to the highest branch, and started climbing away. The parents regained their composure and sighed. They continued their previous conversation as the little girl climbed and climbed.
When she got to the top of the branch she wanted to get to , she said in a voice quite proud - "That's fuckin right, I did it. Uh huh!" The parents heard themselves. The other patrons of the park heard their own conversation.
Me, I heard the little 6 year old say, within a foot of her parents,Fuckin Right!!!
whn i asked if she was allowed to cuss they looked at me with a look of appall that I haven't saeen in a long while. The look said it all, and I smiled.

I used to see couples walking down the road, sitting at the park, or at dinner somewhere and they wouldn't be speaking to each other. The other way it went was that they were both reading the paper, or both reading their own book. My theory was that, it had finally happened for those two. They had lost so total interest in each other that they had stopped talking, they had stopped interacting, they had stopped being a couple. How could you be around someone, and they weren't apying attention to you, or being with you?
I now realize it in such a different way. It's not that at'all. The line from Palm Fiction, or I should say Quentin Terrintino, is truly correct: "It's when you're totally interested and succinct with a person that you can just sit there and shut the fuck up"
Interesting...that line always bothered me...till now. These people have become so linked, so together that they actually know each other enough to not feel slighted by the other. they are happilly doing what they are doing, while happily allowing the other person to do what they're happy to do. Wow!!! I had never thought of it that way. Look around! You will see the couples who don't care about each other, and then you'll see the couples who are perfect! Artic Ice almost gone in the Summer!!!!
There is a way to traverse the top of thew world now
For years discoverers such as Capt Cook and many many others, trudged through Ice and snow, risked their lives to find a way through the Northern Arctic circle. Ladies And Gentleman, the ice has receded so much that there now is that boat way.
It is actually possible to boat your way, albeit cold and rotten with bits and pieces of sea ice here and there, but you can now do it. it use to take days and weeks of blasting through Ice to do that, and now it's just a simple power boat excersise.

For years discoverers such as Capt Cook and many many others, trudged through Ice and snow, risked their lives to find a way through the Northern Arctic circle. Ladies And Gentleman, the ice has receded so much that there now is that boat way.
It is actually possible to boat your way, albeit cold and rotten with bits and pieces of sea ice here and there, but you can now do it. it use to take days and weeks of blasting through Ice to do that, and now it's just a simple power boat excersise.

What I'd like to point out is the differences in the names. The headline is "Ted Kenendy is dead. The article says Ed kenedy is dead. Which one is it? Did Ed go by Ted as well? Did Ted go by Ed. Is Ted the patriarch....to my feeble knowledge it was Ed. This seems like pretty important information for a the 5th largest newspaper in the united states to make. Go find otu yourself. Today is the anniversary of Galileo's 1st telescope.
That is given to me by the great Google.com daily why is this day important. However, I do have to say those little google.com things are not as biased as i thought they were. I thought google.com were going to use only specific things, now google.com is branching out to meaning all sorts of things from the 1st telescope to Mozart's birthday.
I'm glad google.com has gone to such an extent to help us out, its truly beautiful.

Writing customers
As a writer we run into a number of stupid things and stupid ideas that customwers want, that most people don't ever think about. I recently did an article for a customer who was adimant about wanting a phrase doen the exact way that they had stated they wanted it done. Now, you can't blame a customer ofr wanting that. Let's say his phrase, since this SEO writing, was "stable little control".
I wrote the item. Wrote it completely as dictated and told to me. He responded - please make sure it is Stable little Control.
What did that mean? What was the customer tryin to say? My paycheck hung in the balance of deciphering this cryptic message. I read the entire piece, said exactly what he wanted. Sudenly, i realized that "attention to detail" part of my resume and that phrase we all put in our resume....almost became a lie.
There it was, in my face....those two stupid capital letter. The "S" and the "C". That was the problem. Biut this si a small example of what we have to do. We have to look for the not so obvious, to write the obvious for customers who live and breathe what they want - yet we only see it for a mere few seconds when we write it up.
Thank-you to all of mine and all of your customers. Thank-you to customer me, and to customer you!!!

Life of Ghandi
When you sit down and think about life and your life, you have to one day look at Ghandi. Most people will look at his sayings and his actions rather than see him as a man. A man who decided to be who he was, not a man who was just born that way. Because it is our decsion, we are our commanders. I believe that is the main point to see out of this great man's life.

- at 24 he became working on the freedom of the south african black and various other races.
- tried to change the laws. - but laws aren't the truth. Every law he changed, they created another law to beat him.
- he created a commune where everyone could live together as one group of people. Everyone was treeated as equal. Even his family was treated as equal people, just as everyone else.
- He told all women to go against all the new laws in south africa that said that indian women could not be married to an indian man, and all marriages were null and void. He gets all the women walkout and start doing things in the city. Start taking up jobs, and see what they do then. Suddenly, he single handedly emancipated all women. hundredds 100, 000's walked off their job, as a protest to what is going on.

Yes, it did happen!!!!
There are just some things that happen to me that you just can't make up. This is just one of those stories.
I was cleanign my house, and I tossed as many things as I could into my pocket to put them somewhere later. I totally forget that i had done this, and went to Walmart. At the cash register I couldn't get my walet out. So I pulled and pulled and puleed, but it just wasn't coming out of my pocket. Finally I gave a good yank and pull, like any guy in line with 15 people huffing and puffing their way through the walmart experience, and finally being stopped by some guy who can't figure out his own clothes. As I got the walet out, all of the contents of my pocket came out as well.
An unopened condom package flew into the air, as if to advertise the brand, and then hit the cashier in the face.
The second item, one half of a clean tampon flew into the air, also displaying itself quite proudly, landed on the scanner in front of the cashier.
My credit card flew in the opposite direction and over my shoulder, slapping the young lady that was behind me int he face. Surfice to say, her husband was not quite happy with me.
I smilled at everyone, sighed, cleaned up my mess, and paid for my grocieries. The cashier, didn't even change her reaction. The rest of the line and two lines on either side who got to watch this whole thing happen, laughed uncontrollably. I walked out waving good bye to my adoring fans.

At the cash register I couldn't get my walet out. So I pulled and pulled and puleed, but it just wasn't coming out of my pocket. Finally I gave a good yank and pull, like any guy in line with 15 people huffing and puffing their way through the walmart experience, and finally being stopped by some guy who can't figure out his own clothes. As I got the walet out, all of the contents of my pocket came out as well.
An unopened condom package flew into the air, as if to advertise the brand, and then hit the cashier in the face.
The second item, one half of a clean tampon flew into the air, also displaying itself quite proudly, landed on the scanner in front of the cashier.
My credit card flew in the opposite direction and over my shoulder, slapping the young lady that was behind me int he face. Surfice to say, her husband was not quite happy with me.
I smilled at everyone, sighed, cleaned up my mess, and paid for my grocieries. The cashier, didn't even change her reaction. The rest of the line and two lines on either side who got to watch this whole thing happen, laughed uncontrollably. I walked out waving good bye to my adoring fans.

I was driving down a road right here in Palm Harbor, fl and I saw one of the most beautiful drive ways I've ever seen. It's not that I'm a fine conosouer of drive-ways, but this one in particular had a certain shine and beauty to it. There was a gentleman sweeping it and I asked him who did the drive way - and he replied I did. The home owner told me that it took a fantastic short amount of time. I couldn't believe that I was looking at such a beautiful piece of work.

The right thing...yes, it is.
Saw something beautiful at the gas statiot, and couldn't believe it. I walked up to the gas station preoccupied in my own world and noticed an older gentleman mumbling to himself. I took a moment to listen and he was lamenting about his money situation. Who knows why he was in that situation, it doesn't matter. But he said," Well, I need gas. I have to get to my doctors and my appointments so i have to put gas in. I'll just use my debit card and hopefully won't bounce too many checks. I hate doing this. I wish I had enough money to put gas in my car at least" At this moment I noticed a young lady and her child walking next to him as well. They seemed to be engrossed in their own world.
As I stood in line the same older man found two dollars on the ground. Knowing full well that was what he needed for his car, he asked everyone if it was theirs. I mean everyone!!!! At that moment, the mother an dher daughter, who couldn't be mor ethan 8, came up to the line and the daughter really wanted a snack. It wasn't candy or anything like that, it was a good for you health bar. Her mother said they couldn't afford it and that was the end of the conversation.
The old man walked up and said to the mother: "Can I give this to your daughter? If she wants that, she can buy it with this." The mother said ok, and nothing else was said. The man stood in line 3 people behind me and the mother and daughter were directly behind me. The man gave those $2 fully knowing he didn't have any other money. That was great,a nd I thought that was just wonderful!
Little did I know, I hadn't seen anything yet! It gives me goose bumps just thinking about it.
The woman paid for her things, the little girl got the thing she wanted, and then she said, "And can you charge me for this gentleman's full tank of gas please?"

Craigs list oddities
As I was adding things to Craigs list a pecuilar thing happened to me, I got inspired.
Each time I put in a piece to sell, which is a lot by the way for anyone who wants to look for stuff. But, as I did I realized that the secret codes were odd words put together rather than scrabled letters and numbers. So here I give you the secret codes I ran into from craigslist.com. I thouhgt they were funny and I hope you do too. They're even poetic.

Because our cards capture genuine emotions on topics such as love, friendship, family, missing you, and other real-life subjects, we suggest that you have a friend, relative, or someone else in your life in mind as you write. Georgia - 1st in Peanuts
What does that mean? What could that mean? My speculations ran away with me as they often do, till suddenly there was a plaque. The plaque and the commemorative peanut was to remember Noram Laurie Smith, a writer/a wordsmith who loved the people and the area.
Wait! A writer thought this up? This is great!!!!
This whole monument is a pun! A wordsmith Pun! This monument means that we're all nuts. We're #1 nuts.
That's the goal of life - Be the #1 nut!
Well, Yes Ms. Nora Smith, I will take your advice and becoem the number 1 nut. I, TRW, am not just a nut, I am THE Nut.
I will be the nut other nuts define their shells by. I will take your "Nut theory" and run with it. I will create and be the Nut who all other nuts see as their leader. I will be the nut's leader!!!
Cotton-Yuck!! - TRW
TRW here and We're flying down the road and finally seeing some mountains. Nice after so much flatness and cotton! Augh!! Cotton! It just reminds me of the destruction of people and the destruction of a nation. We were so ready....so there! We had the moment, the prime opportunity. The prime time to create something wonderful. A government and development to create a utopia. A country based on the people's ideas, the people's developed thoughts. Wow!! A government based on the people, for the people, by the people. E pluribus unum - Together as one!! These magical words make my heart thump, and goose bumps grow on my skin.
Can you truly imagine and see what a country like that would be? A country where everyone was equal. A country where everyone helped everyone else. A country where we cared what happened to ever inhabitant, and we were working to one common goal - peace and prosperity. But - it fell apart on day one.
Day one! The continental congress convened and immediately went to constructing what would become a racist, misogynistic, country based on money greed and power of the wealthy. As you can see it hasn't changed much. I suggest you read the transcripts of this nightly destruction of what we could have been. What we profess ourselves to be, yet are only what was developed.
And cotton - Cotton couldn't be sold for enough. The southern group couldn't live in their rich lifestyle, so they needed to not pay for their workers. their "property". And that's where it all begins. Ahhh the echo of 100 years later that still rings true, and still slams into my head when I look at these acreages of mansions:

So the cotton - the slaves-the destruction of the dream-the destruction of the nation-and even after the war tore us apart, we still haven't learned. I don't like cotton!

Writer Jackson
TRW - here and ecstatic. Can't believe it! Writer Jackson called me. He was in South Africa giving a talk on the rights and the wrongs of apartheid, but at the same time explaining to all that there is no right or wrong. Just the is and the isn't. What a guy. Well, someone asked him if there is only the is and the isn't, then there is no learning and just a knowing. He explained that that was correct.
Turns out the guy was a record producer from Atlanta, and decided to take him up on that and stated that if that was true - Writer Jackson should be able to fly a plane. So Writer Jackson jhopped into his G4 and flew his to Atlanta. Writer knew I was driving up here, so he called me and The Kid and I met up with him in Atlanta.
He shared a story and maybe we can all learn soemthing from it:
A very intelligent, very intuitive young girl was at her home one day. Her father told her not to do something a few days before that day. So the young girl did exactly what she knew not to do. The father asked her why she had done this wrong thing. The young 9 year old smiled and said, with a thoughtful look, "It's better to ask for forgiveness, then ask for permission." This was a phrase she had heard from her father many times, and seen him use it many times. So what is the father to do? Remember, our children, as well as the people we teach are a product of the things we say and do. Therefore, if they do what we do not wqant them to - do they deserve to be punished?
As for what Writer, I, and The Kid spoke of - It doesn't fuckin matter and you don't need to know.

A square fish, a few cookie cutter pieces of chicken, a rib that you only bring out once or twice a year, and some wilted salads.....that's not enough? Do you really need to pu t your tow into ever market? Do you really need to compete for every nickle and dime out there? Oh mcdonalds, whata re you doing now?
"I like coffee but I'm not a millionaire" - Advertisement on the side of the road for McDonalds.
Not just any McDonals, a McDonalds that has the new, the magical, MCCAfe, Yep! McDonalds is attacking Starbucks. You walk in and there's a lounge like area. High top chairs and tables. A few easy chairs. Plush chairs that you sink into. The paint job is brown and yellow, with a jazzy flair. Yes, you can get a McCapucino, or aMcLatte. They have all sorts of weird sounding names for what you already know and see. But wait - Starbucks did that too.
When they first came out they were pretty run of the mill. A few tables, some good well done coffee, and that's it. Then they changed it all up. They changed the name of the cups. They changed the names of the coffees. The froze them, added things to them, suddenly Starbucks wasn't run of the mill. Suddenly, Starbucks was trendy. But Trendy comes with a proice that McDonalds is fighting.
Internet - WiFI - Starbucks, $4/hr.
Internet - WIFI - McDonalds McCafe - Free.

TRW-Georgia Plumbers
TRW here and I'm looking at a van. I'm not one to promote businesses unless I use them. But there's some times that I just can't help it. WE're running down the peach state and here;s a Van that has me laughing:
Pat the Plumber - If my plumbers don't show up on time smelling good, it's free
"Smelling good"? Is this a problem for GA plumbers? Are there smelly plumbers roaming about out there. Good thing Pat is there to solve the problem. Do his plumbers have to keep cologne on them at all times? What are the requirements of that? I wonder if they must have a specific type of smell? Is there a company wide smell? Peaches maybe?
