TRW - the trip begins

TRW here....So we're racing down the Fl highway. Making great time, hitting the booster and loving life. Passing the cars like it's nothing, and watching the fog roll in. You just have to stop and take a gander at the beauty that is the early morning fog. Wow! The fog builds and builds and builds and then just can't help itself and it spill out over the road, and the sun catches all of the beautiful sparkles of the dew....is there anything better? Why of course there is. fuck why not? But, I'm just saying this is great! And if you're not here right now, right at this moment then you'd miss this.

Who cares what's going on with the job, the kids, the anything - just sit back, sip your coffee and watch the fog roll onto the highway as you barell into it. As the big trucks fly into it, you can see the air current s suck into the fog like a divit in a donut. Donut....are you serious? That damn dunkin donuts! I'll get into that damn place later!

Well just getting on 275....and the trip begins!

TRW posts--Chad

Ok, folks....my loyal few readers.

The TRW posts are slowly coming in. As soon as I get the e-mails, I put them on the Blog. I've received a few, but they're hard to piece together. Alot of them are jumbled up...like pieces of thought. He told me to string them together, because damn it I'm the writer and he's not. The only thing I can say is, I'm too busy for that. So, what you will be getting are exact e-mail cut and pastes. This is TRW in full form.

In between the TRW posts, you'll see my writings...please look at them. You never kn ow if I've provided info that just might help you out.

TRW 1st post

OK folks, well here we go. We're traveling the country and hell why not. Chad has allowed me to write to you guys and I'm glad he did. He's a good fellow, and a good writer. Me? Well, I'm just a good bullshiter I guess.

A little bit about the trip - Me and The Kid will head out of the ranch here and head on up north. Final destination seems to be the Rocky Mountains. We're off on a journey, let me correct that, I'm off on a journey of self discovery and, correction of my life path. As for The Kid, well he's not writing this post so I don't know what the hell he's doing. I guess I'll ask him.

He says that he's here because I'm here. See, this si why I don't ask him in depth questions like that. I want to see the US for what it is, and what it isn't. I want to see if my old thoughts and ideas still hold true to the realities of my past, and if my old thoughts are still mine. Maybe I have seen another world and another version of life since I've come back to the States, who knows. That remains to be seen. Maybe this is just a shit hole like I left it, and my entire trip will lead me to the realities I already know. To quote Writer Jackson: We are traveling to see the person we are and already are, we must just be reminded." Well, maybe he's right.

So we go through GA, TN, a little bit of KY, scoot on over to the IL and then truck on into the MO. After all of that, we cross the good old MO into KS, and traverse KS to the great state of CO. After we hit CO, we're Mountain bound.

Well that's the trip, and we're heading out. Should take about 2 days full driving. What's waiting for us? Who the hell knows....

It's not the destination it's the adventure along the way.

The beginning of TRW-Interview

Interview with Thadious Robert Wizner aka TRW

If I'm going to have TRW be a guest blogger, I figure you should know a little obout him. So, here is an interview I held over the phone with TRW. I figured it would be best to keep it raw and uncut, so you would get the real and unadulterated TRW.

Me: Wow, Thad how the hell are you? I haven't heard from you in...

TRW: It's TRW. Chad, you know I never like that name. Why do we have to start like that?

Me: Uh...Sorry. Haven't changed much....

TRW: I'm a completely new person, and a new creation. But, I just don't like that name. It's TRW or Thadious. Period. So, cool 'bout the blog thing?

Me: Definetly. I was wondering if I could interview, and if that interview could be this conversation? I mean if you're

TRW: Cool. That's awesome. They should know somethin' 'bout me right? Let's see...I was born from the fire of a god spitting out the dredge of the world after he cleansed it. I named myself upopn realizing my creation, and stood for all that is perfect.

Me: Seriously.

TRW: Fine Chad. You ask the damn questions then.

Me: OK...sorry. Um, well...let's start with the beginning. Where do you come from? Where were you born? Why should people read this?

TRW: You don't give interviews a lot do you?

Me: No why?

TRW: You're suppose to ask one question at a time. It's ok Chads, I'll work with you on this. I see I'm still teaching you. {A large explosion is heard}

Me: WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT!!!

TRW: I don't know. Ok, me huh?

Me: Thadious. That was a huge noise. What the hell was that.

TRW: I don't know chad. I don't really care. Can we continue? Good. It doesn't matter where or how I came about, only that I am. I have created who I am, what I have. People have helped me, raised, loved me - That's all that matters.

Me: Ok, TRW. Come on. Why shoudl these people read this?

TRW: I don't fuckin know. They read it or they don't. They either want to hear what I say, or they don't. Whther a whole bunch of people read this, or a few peopel do really doesn't matter to me.

Me: So why did you want to do this?

TRW: My gut said it was a good idea. Plus, I wanted to talk to you and I knew you needed to be in my life again.Mayb e for you, maybe for me.

Me: O.k, lets go with that. Do you remember when we first met.

TRW:{A very loud grinding sound occurs. TRW yells over it} Jesus fuckin Christ ChadZ. What the fuck? The past is but the past. We are in the present. We live in the now! We create our future.

Me: What the hell was that sound!

TRW: Exactly! Good question. That is happening in the now. Good job.

Me: Well?

TRW: What?

Me: The sound. What the hell was that?

TRW: I don't know. Don't really care.

Me: What? Fine! {The sound of me kicking my chair across the room is heard} What about this kid. Who the hell is he? When did you adopt a kid?

TRW: Ahhhh....The Kid. He's fuckin great. You have to wonder about the youth of today. He's a good kid. He's been around me for about a year or so. We've had some good times.

Me: Where did he come from?

TRW: Do we have to have the birds and the bees talk Chassy?

Me: I mean, is he your...um.....biological child?

TRW: He's my kid...but my genes don't make him up. It'sw nice though, because I don't feel bad the parts of him that he can't do anything about. Liek, I'd feel bad about giving someone my nose. But he was given all that shit pre-me.

Me: So, you're nbot going to tell me anything?

TRW: Nope....that's what the blog is for. To tell a whole bunch opf stuff.

Me: Well, I look forward to reading it.

TRW: Me too. I'll talk to you later.

ME: OK.

Training the Pole Vaulters

Do you know a pole Vaulting enthusiast? Do you pole Vault? Are you a pole vaulter? Do you coach pole vaulting? Are you an assistant coach in pole vaulting? Then these pole vault articles are just for you. The pole Vault is a very unnatural sport to learn. The Pole Vault is the only sport in the track and field world that you have to throw awazyt everything you know, and then start over again.

These are a few links to a few articles that you will find quite valuable to your pole vault and track team, especially the vaulters. I hope it is helpful, and if it is let me know. I have a lot more info stuck in my head, and I'd be happy to help you out.

www.associatedcontent.com/article/2007704/how_to_train_someone_to_run_for_the.html

- link on the exact training process of teaching someone how to run in pole vaulting. It's odd, I know. But running as fast as you can into a pad is just not natural to most.

www.associatedcontent.com/article/2007688/excersises_to_increase_pole_vaulting.html
- Great excersises that will build up every vaulter. The nice thing is you don't have to get weight room time for these.

www.associatedcontent.com/article/2007662/how_to_teach_the_pole_vault_hold.html
- How do you teach someone how to hold a pole? This is a tried and true method.

An Adventure? Already?

I know I just anounced his arrival back to the states, he's already on the move. Ever since I first met him , TRW is always one the move having some adventure or another. I've never know where he gets his money, and he always just says: "There's so much money out there. Why woory where that stuff is coming from?" Yeah, whatever that means. I get the idea, but I don't know how it would work.

So it turns out that TRW and The Kid are heading west. I don't think they're going there to live, since they have the "Christ Chex Ranch" somewhere in South Florida. The following is the e-mail transmissions that went back and forth:

Me: What do you mean? You just got back? Aren't you going to relax for a bit?

TRW: This is Relaxin' chad. Ever think of changing your name to something that sounds cool?

Me: I mean, why are you heading West.

TRW: I need to see what the Americas have to offer. Been away quite a while. When you're my age, you want to check out the world a bit to see if it's exactly what you thought it was when you were young and bullet proof.

Me: But, you said you were going to be a guest blogger. I already introduced you and everything.

TRW: Welcome to the 21st century Chad. Still don't like the name. No - i still want to do your bloggy thing.

Me: When? When you get back? You know you could buy a laptop and send me stuff as you drive.

TRW: Two steps ahead of you chuck...nahh doesn't fit you...This is why I e-mailed you in the first place. Figured I'd send you various entries from the road off my Itouch or The Kid's Blackberry.

Me: Cool. Speaking of The Kid, want to eleaborate on where he came from. How you adopted a kid. Anything?

TRW:OK, so I'll send you stuff from the road. We're leaving CCR and driving out to CO. We'll be out there for a bit, and then we'll come back. I'll send you various posts....hope you like them (No, I really don't, but it sounds nice. lol lol lol lol Hate those "lol" things, but people use them all the time. I personally prefer that old ha ha ha Ok, next time I e-mail you it will be posts.

Talk to you in a bit - H....Yes. That's what I'll call you.

And that's it. I'll put the posts as is, and maybe a commentary of mine or so. I guess the title of his posts was accurate......meandering misadventures. This should be interesting to read.

BRAND NEW - mISCELANEOUS MISADVENTURES AND MEANDERINGS OF TRW AND THE KID

NEW!! Brand new!!!!!

For the few who are reading this!!! This blog, yes this one, is going to be transformed into the blog of the grand and often curious adventures of Thadious and the Kid. I must introduce you to the Main Characters

Thadious Robert Wizner, also know as TRW - He has lived on the outer edges of reality and literary obscurity for decades, and now has finally been caught up with. After a long stint under the grand tutelage of the Dali Lama and Writer Jackson, he has emerged onto our society with a vengeance for experience. It happens sometimes when you're outside of the country for so long you forget that this type of society could exist in the world. As TRW himself says,"We are the reality of what we have been fighting against for over 200 years. We do not see that we are our own problem because as all humans, we don't like to look in the mirror and realize Buddha was right: You will see your problems in others as long as you have those problems."

So why has he come back to the states? Why has emerged now? Why is he on this obscure Blog...a blog that only 100 people a month arrive at, and Chad believes that 30 of those are him. All of these answers will be answered in a recent interview that I had with Thadious over the phone 2 days ago. A lot of it is obscure and odd, but it's normal Thadious as far as I've always known him. But back to the charachters because this Blog has already ran too long.

The Kid - Because of his age we can only divulge he is an emerging genius of the highest quality with a propensity for laziness in such a way, that it holds onto him like a ravenous tiger in the middle of a drought as it tastes the new blood that drip from your shoulder as it bites down. However his true abilities of math, logic, and order are traits of legendary proportion. He's currently going to high-school but going is a loose word for an existence of mock trying and dodgy acquaintance that he turns into grades that would make the cream of the crop smile and cry about. What his future holds is unknown, but i can bet TRW isn't helping or hindering. The Kid seems to understand, but says that he "really aspires to be the neighbor kid". It's an odd comment for there are no neighbors on the large plot of land that they live on. Which causes me to question:

How did this poor kid come across TRW; maybe TRW sought him out for some sort of obscure protege turned wrong and bad. Who knows! Only The Kid and TRW truly know. An obscure answer appears in the interview, but you can take it how you want to.

Tune in for same blog time, same Blog address for the oddly created advnetures and mishaps of TRW and The Kid.

Bukowski Is the NOW

Why did he write his poetry? Why did he exist? Was he as Thompson said of his attorney, "God's prototype? Was Bukowski a prototype of genius? What is genius, when it is put in hard cold black and white? For it can only be read. Read by whomever reads it, and so man ywant to read Bukowski. Everybody wants to read him out loud. They spend a moment praising him. Then they spend a moment, sometime way longer, oh so much fuckin longer, talking about their time with a man who cared more for the cat that walked over his typewriter than this person who is going to read his poetry. Finally they read it.

They read Bukowski with exuberance. They read him with hope, prosperity, and adoration. But,that was not what Bukowski wrote. He wrote the observations of the time, in prose form of poetry that was not suppose to convey anything but the acts of existence, the toime of "now" that that Poem of Bukowski's spoke of. In hos ability, he didn't point out a thing, and explain it as a significance to something else; he asked us to be there.

BE THERE

That' what bukosoki asks his readers to do. BE There. Be in that one spot, at that one time when that action, that moment, that infinitesimal thought sparked in his brain and he thought what ever he mused upon that one idea, given that one moment. Then, you will move on to the next Bukowski poem, which in turn is another now.

And when Hank read his poetry, it was as a man depicts what happened when he turned the corner on that one day, at that one time, and when he saw what he saw, and heard what he heard, he pondered the thoughts that he did. He has now allowed us into that inner sanctum, and we now move on tot he next time.

Wow! Turns out Hunter S. Thompson was published in playboy. Who knew!!! Here is a great link for anyone wanting know exactly what it was and where to get it. Good job!!! That's the thing with writers, we will be published in any publication that will publish us, but the thing with hunter is that Playboy fits him just as Rolling Stone did. However, all of Thompson's playboy pieces sold better than any other issue of the magazine. Does that mean people were really reading , yes it does.

http://hstbooks.org/category/hst-playboy/

Shel Silverstein-more than just a kids poet

Why is so hard for people to think of Shel Silverstein as working for playboy? When was playboy so deified? When did showing off your gorgeous naked body become such a horrible thing? Plus, his artistry and comics were hilarious. But oh no!!! He wrote children's poetry, how could he be part of that horrible Playboy...bah! Are you serious. It would probably be a good idea for the your little johnny or suzy to see someone naked to show them that they don't have to be ashamed of their beautiful body. They don't have to be perfect looking to feel good about themselves. Wow, that's crazy talk in our society.

What's really fun is to walk into a library and ask for Shel's "adult" stuff. they look at you lie you just walked off the crazy plane, then they look at you liked you 'd just asked, "Can you tell me where your porn is? "Adult" is the only way to describe it, because it isn't for kids. Anything that isn't for kids is adult. Mature always winds up meaning old people...so I guess I'm still a kid. If you are able or have the opportunity to pick up any of Shel's adult stuff...or especially his plays I strongly recommend it. What a great read Shel Silverstein's stuff truly is.

But, the library is the best place to find all of this stuff if you can get over the old ladies scoffing at you, the old men chuckling, and the younger women moving their children away from you. Incidently, he is the inspiration for the name of this Blog.

A space can mean decapitation

I was driving down the road the other day when I came upon a sign: Stop Ahead. A well meant sign to alert you that you will need to stop just ahead, and you must be careful because of this. I came to a conclusion upon seeing that sign as to how important a space is. A mere tap of the space bar, a small little hesitation of a painter or a sign creator and this is no longer a helpful sign to notify you there's a stop sign. It's now notifying you that you are now entering a scene of a crime. You are now going to be witnessing a decapitation, or what was a decapitation. Because you must STOP! A head! A head is in the road, or on a pike, or sitting on a shelf. Maybe it's a famous head...who knows. But, you are now going to bear witness to A HEAD! AUGH!!

Eggs for breakfast

Why is it that nobody feels bad about eating eggs? I mean they are kids. We are a society that laments and is just fuckin crazy about babies, and little children, and cute little baby animals, and little children and on and on and on; but oh yeah, those poor fuckin chickens. We don't care about these chicks till they become all cute and yellow. Don't want to hurt the cute little yellow things, but as soon as they get older and have white feathers, it's dinner time. What type of people are we? Then if we can get them before they hatch, oh the cry goes out: GET THE BABIES!!! We raid thier shit like we're an angry mob looking for the beast. Get the eggs. Get the eggs. Eggs are good. We need Omelets. We need them hardboiled for salads and deviled eggs. Grab your pitchforks and torches! Take out the chicken young. We will force them to make our delicacies, we are the rulers. Kill the beasts! Kill the beasts!!

Great Sites....

Came across a few great sites for all of you groovy cool people out there.

rice.com - give rice by learning vocab
hstbooks.org 0 greatest collectioj fo great wqriters like Hunter S. Thompasaon and Charles Bukowski.

Inspiration quote pitch....

As I'm sitting here wandering around my own reality I noticed a small bit of sanity, and decided I really needed to throw it out. But, I'll let it stay for a while. I re-read my last post, and realized I have now set up the ability to put myself into this blog. However, had I ever wanted to do that? I don't know. But looking into the blog, I am all over it. So are we here or are we there? It truly doesn't matter.

But ,my real question that I'd like to ask anyone actually reading this: Would you or anyone you know like to read an inspirations quote ever day? It will only cost you 15 cents a quote. That's less than a cup of coffee. Please contact me at chadrherman@yahoo.com, and I'd be happy to get that started for you. Would you like to be inspired? Would you like to be motivated? Every day I'd be happy to do just that for you!!!

More Hunter S. Thompson quotes, and why not??

As I sit thinking more about hunter, mere minutes after the last blog...i realize maybe he's right. Maybe we need to make the story in order to cover the story. That's possible I suppose. or maybe we have to be the story...Yes, I'll be the story thank-you. So I looked into my world and realized, i am more of a story than most people realize or i do for that matter. Still waiting to sip the coffee, I ponder my existence and toss down some more quotes and dirges by Hunter that I've pilfered from others on the net, that also pilfered from somewhere.

- “Maybe there is no Heaven. Or maybe this is all pure gibberish — a product of the demented imagination of a lazy drunken hillbilly with a heart full of hate who has found a way to live out where the real winds blow — to sleep late, have fun, get wild, drink whisky, and drive fast on empty streets with nothing in mind except falling in love and not getting arrested…Res ipsa loquitur. Let the good times roll.”

- Anybody who thinks that ‘it doesn’t matter who’s President’ has never been Drafted and sent off to fight and die in a vicious, stupid War on the other side of the World — or been beaten and gassed by Police for trespassing on public property — or been hounded by the IRS for purely political reasons — or locked up in the Cook County Jail with a broken nose and no phone access and twelve perverts wanting to stomp your ass in the shower. That is when it matters who is President or Governor or Police Chief. That is when you will wish you had voted.”

Hunter S. thompson quotes

I find my self sitting here at 4:15 in the morning, realizing no one is reading my blog, and noone really cares what the hell I say. I'm oddly ok with that, and I await the sun, the blue sky, and the inevitable bright blazing sun. When it comes up, I'm going to brew a cup of good coffee, put some milk and whyskey into it, and write till I'm done writing. Upon thinking of this, I thought of Hunter S. Thompson. He'd gone out, seen the world...seen what there was to be seen. Lived it, loved it, and took himself out when it got weird enough. So I add a few Hunter S. Thompson quotes:

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you.

When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.

No one holds command over me. No man. No god. No Prince. What is a claim of age for ones who are immortal? What is a claim of power for ones who defy death? Call your damnable hunt. We shall see whom I drag screaming to hell with me.

So we shall let the reader answer this question for himself: Who is the happier man, he who has braved the storm of life and lived, or he who has stayed securely on shore and merely existed?

A cap of good acid costs five dollars and for that you can hear the Universal Symphony with God singing solo and the Holy Ghost on drums.

As you were, I was. As I am, you will be

Yet another drawing game you say. Another way to bring family close, blah, blah, blah. Well, why not? Is your family not important to you? Is it not the highlight of your life? Are you not an integral part of it? Is not drawing for all ages, so this doesn't have to be a family thing...it can be a couple thing if you really wanted to do..

Please go to the following link and enjoy a new idea that could very well spark a number of new and interesting things to do for you and everyone you're connected with.

Let's teach some art...and why not!!!!

For all of you looking for a new way to teach art, here's the way. If you're a teacher, a home school mom, or just a person who wants to show their kids a new way to look at art, this is it. When you begin teaching children about art, you have to start out the basics. But there are so many do's and don't, it turns children off. Therefore, try a different way of doing things and you just might change their perspective.

This lesson is geared for older children, high-school and up. However, with very little modification, you can change it into any age level. Please go to the link/address below to be welcomed into a new lesson on art.

Try meditation!! What could it hurt?

There are many people out there that believe mediation is ridiculous. That's ok, you may be one of them. However, the benefits of meditation are far greater than the hindrances and the prejudice that people put on it. It's not some religious thing, or some fad thing, it's all about taking the time to experience now. That's all, nothing more, nothing less.

Even if you have never wanted to try it, or if you've wanted to try it and never knew how to start, now is the time. Please click on the link below and start learning how to meditate now!

What better way to bring everyone together than drawing. not just drawing, a drawing game that will allow people to show off their differences, relish in their creativity, and show everyone that it's ok to be different and that's what makes us cool.

Please got to the address below to experience a new kind of drawing game. A game that can not only revolutionize your family dynamic, but completely change the way your children see the world.
