Teaching is a misunderstood, undervalued, and often under paid profession. Teaching is on the skids right now. It seems whenever there is money problems and there is unrest in the world, the first place to cut money is teaching.
Hasn't it been shown that the more educated people are, the less violent they are? So what are we doing?
